My experience at Harpoon Brewery provided invaluable exposure to every aspect of a fast-growing business, from production operations to customer-facing marketing initiatives. Working in both the cellars and packaging operations gave me hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, while managing the visitor center operations exposed me to customer experience design and revenue optimization.

This dual perspective across operations and marketing sparked my lasting interest in process improvement and workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. The experience demonstrated how operational excellence directly impacts customer satisfaction and business growth.

Packaging Operations Transformation

Managed the operation of a packaging line, implementing process improvements that resulted in a 4x increase in product throughput. Focused on optimizing workflow efficiency, reducing bottlenecks, and establishing quality control measures that significantly enhanced production capacity while maintaining product quality standards.

Visitor Center Revenue Growth

Assisted in management of the visitor center, implementing customer experience improvements and operational enhancements that grew weekly visitors approximately 4x and revenue more than 4x.
