Tokobox was a social commerce platform that used social media to allow rural Indonesians to build their own business by selling dropshipped items to their friends, family, and neighbors. By integrating into pre-existing consumer behaviors, Tokobox sought to bring e-commerce to the >90% of Indonesians who do not currently use major e-commerce platforms.
